The Waipawa March (Solo)

from Two Thousand Weeks (Part 3) (2011 - 2015) by Steven Hein

/

about

When I lived at Zentrale I had this flatmate Moritz Krämer who had been to new sealand for one year and we celebrated talking in new sealandic english at breakfast... and any other time of nearly every day.

He just created this great comicbook about a guy he observed when he was in new sealand and invented a story of that. I liked that comic very much so I came up with the crazy idea to create a soundtrack to it and release both, comic and record together as a package. And so we did.

We produced 50 copies of the bundle, all numbered and special packed. You got one of them? Hurray!

"Waipawa March" is the grande finale of the record. The comic closes with the actor making a decision for the first time of his life by leaving Waipawa and so does the song...in a musical way...meta meta meta!

Last but not least a big thank you to Thorsten Marach, Henning Lindeke and Lukas Mokros for their great contribution!
